The Developer Rating Scheme is now open and we are conducting rigorous, independent assessments of renewable energy developers and transmission businesses across Australia. To ensure the highest level of transparency, businesses will only appear on this register once they have successfully passed a comprehensive rating across seven key criteria. This thorough review spans everything from their financial resilience and project capabilities to their standard of conduct and engagement with local communities. The register will be populated shortly with businesses that have demonstrated their commitment to accountable, trustworthy operations.
If you are a landholder, neighbouring landholder, or member of a regional community, you can find trustworthy renewable energy businesses by searching the Renewable Energy Register.
Every company listed with an active rating has gone through a rigorous and independent review process and has agreed to share their rating publicly.
To be included, businesses must undergo an assessment and receive a minimum rating which is reflective of a sound, trustworthy business. This includes an evaluation of their community engagement maturity alongside their financial stability, commercial capabilities and ability to honour long-term commitments. Each star rating is based on a scale that measures evidence of a company’s community engagement maturity and practices, ranking between those that are good, better and best.
While a growing number of businesses are commencing the review process, not all meet the assessment criteria and methodology to be included on the Renewable Energy Register.
